Regular physical activity also reduces stress levels and improves sleep quality, which in turn can help improve overall health as well as weight control efforts if needed for those trying lose weight or maintain their current weight.

  • Set aside time for reflection: You might want to start by setting aside a few minutes each day or week when you can sit down and think about how things are going in your life. What are some things that have been working well? What aren't working so well? Are there any areas where improvement is needed?

  • Identify areas of growth: Once you've identified some areas where improvement is needed, think about what steps could be taken towards improving them--and then take those steps! For example, if one thing that isn't working well is your diet (e.g., eating too much junk food), try cutting back on snacks between meals or switching out unhealthy foods with healthier options at meals themselves (e.g., replacing soda with water).
